From 16 October to 2 November 2026, the 2km Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk will be transformed into a temporary sculpture park that is free for everyone to visit and welcoming artists and visitors from across Australia and around the globe this October,

Five Easy Pieces challenges each invited artist to create a sculpture from the same five pieces of steel. Every participant begins with an identical set of components, which must all be incorporated into the finished work. The elements may be cut, bent, welded, forged, melted or otherwise transformed, giving each artist complete creative freedom within a shared set of constraints. The exhibition explores how individual imagination, technical skill and artistic vision can produce remarkably diverse outcomes from identical starting materials. By removing differences in material, the focus shifts to each artist's unique sculptural language, revealing the breadth of creative possibilities contained within the same five simple pieces.

Sculpture Bermagui 2026 - 7th to 15th March 
"The Sculpture Bermagui exhibition is held over nine days in March.
Set beneath the auspicious gaze of sacred Mount Gulaga, overlooking the pristine waters of Horseshoe Bay to the Tasman beyond, Sculpture Bermagui encourages visitors to experience art in a setting of stunning natural beauty.
Outdoor works are displayed on Dickinson Point Headland and Bermagui Country Club, while those more vulnerable to the elements are showcased at the Bermagui Surf Club, The Bermagui Beach Hotel and at Shop7 Artspace at the nearby Fishermans Wharf. All 5 locations are within easy walking distance to the main street, accommodation, cafes and restaurants.​
Entirely community-driven, supported and free, Sculpture Bermagui welcomes visitors into the heart of Bermagui to enjoy nine days of beautiful art on the Sapphire Coast."

​Thank you! Sculpture by the Sea is thrilled to announce that this year's Bondi 2025 exhibition will go ahead from 17 October - 3 November, thanks to a generous contribution from NRMA Insurance and overwhelming public support. 
 
In just 30 hours, people from across Australia, and as far afield as New York, Singapore, France, Czech Republic and Japan, donated over $125,000 to help stage the exhibition. Every dollar has made a difference, so we thank each and every one of you.

​Sculpture by the Sea 2025 exhibition in Perth cancelled due to lack of funding!!!​ 
Organisers of Sculpture by the Sea say they have been forced to cancel the popular exhibition at Cottesloe Beach in 2025 due to a lack of funding from arts agency Creative Australia.
Sculpture by the Sea founding CEO David Handley said artists have described the cancellation as a "funeral".

Located halfway between Sydney and Melbourne, the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail offers another reason to visit and discover this stunning region of NSW.
Featuring internationally renowned artists from Australia and around the world, each sculpture in the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail has been thoughtfully selected and considered in consultation with a wide cross section of the Snowy Valleys community, the Snowy Valleys Council and a Local Community Advisory Group.

Fostering & promoting contemporary Australian sculpture.
​As one of Australia’s most prestigious annual prizes for sculptors in Australia, the Helen Lempriere Scholarships foster and promote contemporary Australian sculpture. The Scholarships are a realisation of a bequest made by the late Keith Wood to honour his wife, Helen Lempriere. Helen was one of Australia’s leading female artists in the mid-20th century, attracting national and international acclaim for her painting, printmaking and sculpture.
