​Sculpture by the Sea 2025 exhibition in Perth cancelled due to lack of funding!!!​ 
Organisers of Sculpture by the Sea say they have been forced to cancel the popular exhibition at Cottesloe Beach in 2025 due to a lack of funding from arts agency Creative Australia.
Sculpture by the Sea founding CEO David Handley said artists have described the cancellation as a "funeral".

A permanent sculpture collection created by the team behind Sculpture by the Sea at Bondi and Cottesloe; the 150km Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail meanders from Adelong to Tooma along the picturesque Snowy Valleys Way. Located halfway between Sydney and Melbourne, the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail offers another reason to visit and discover this stunning region of NSW.
Featuring internationally renowned artists from Australia and around the world, each sculpture in the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail has been thoughtfully selected and considered in consultation with a wide cross section of the Snowy Valleys community, the Snowy Valleys Council and a Local Community Advisory Group.

2010 - Michael Le Grand: Helen Lempriere Scholarship Recipient 
Sculpture by the Sea 
Fostering & promoting contemporary Australian sculpture.
​As one of Australia’s most prestigious annual prizes for sculptors in Australia, the Helen Lempriere Scholarships foster and promote contemporary Australian sculpture. The Scholarships are a realisation of a bequest made by the late Keith Wood to honour his wife, Helen Lempriere. Helen was one of Australia’s leading female artists in the mid-20th century, attracting national and international acclaim for her painting, printmaking and sculpture.
